I happened to see a copy of "A History of Franklin 1789-1989" in a local second hand store and purchased it. It has a good index on names so if someone on this list wishes me to check for references to someone in early Franklin town, let me know. I emphasis, this just covers the town of Franklin, not the whole county so unless they lived in town they are not going to be mentioned.
