I am searching for two children who arrived in Quebec in 1867 from Scotland as part of the family of David KERR and Catherine DUNCAN. They travelled on the S.S. St. Andrew departing Port Glasgow 19 June 1867 on a 32 day voyage. The two children are David KERR age 13, (b abt 1854), and Margaret KERR age 9 (b abt 1858), on the ship's list. My grgrandfather David KERR was described as a widower when he married Catherine DUNCAN in Scotland in 1860. These children may have been from his first marriage in Scotland. We have had no luck yet in searching for this first wife, and we have found no trace of these children after their arrival in Quebec. The family originally lived in Compton Co. then bought a farm at 1244 Spooner Pond Road in Richmond County where they raised ten children...as far as we have been able to determine, not including David and Margaret. David and Catherine already had another son named David (Duncan on the ship's list) who became my grandfather. Any help out there? Regards Roberta from Alberta
