Good morning, I am trying to verify the children of Ebenezer Wheeler & Susannah Ruggles who came from Grafton, Massachusetts. They had a son Ebenezer Wheeler who married MARY ANN WELLS who I believe are the parents of my elusive 3rd great grandfather John Wheeler born June 8, 1834 in Barnston, Quebec. Does anyone have any info on this Wheeler family? Thanks! Linda

Ebenezer Wheeler (I have his line back to England if you need it) was born 15 Oct 1764 in Grafton, MA.; died abt 31 Aug 1852 Mooers Fork, Clinton Co., NY. He married Susannah Ruggles (b. 1764) on 8 Nov 1787 in Grafton, MA. They had 8 children: Polly, Ebenezer (b. 27 Apr 1791 in Alburg, VT; in 1852 he resided in Belmont, NY - this is all the info I have on him), Susannah, John R., Olive, Royal, Safronia and Betsey. Royal is fairly well known on the web and have corresponded with several of his relative. If this is your Ebenezer, you're the first from that branch I've found. There were NUMEROUS other Ebenezers in this family group (I have10 in my index) as it was the name of the patriarch of the group. Hope this helpful.
