I am looking for the parents of Amable Lafleur(born circa 1807) in St John's, QC. He married Jane Salls in 1837(possibly in Alburg, Vermont) and then after her death in 1851, he married Amelia Metivier. He lived and farmed in Sutton, QC until his death in 1899. He's buried in Grace Church Cemetery, Sutton with his two wives and two of their sons, James Lafleur and Louis/Lewis Lafleur. I've been given a lead that the parents could have been another Amable Lafleur, with wife Adelaide Larrivé. Adelaide's father appears to be a Charles Larrivé. Amable's line may run up into Gervais Meunier Lafleur. Does anyone have anything on this? Thanks, Bob Lafleur
