    3. My grandfather's cousin Saphroni Allen, daughter of William Hamilton Allen and his wife Hannah Mandigo married, according to to Knowlton United Church Records, John Alvin Boomhower on Dec 5 1867. He was the son of Martin Boomhower and Mercy Mahala(?). The children of John Alvin Boomhower and his wife Saphroni Allen were Charity (probably by a first wife of John), Mary, Willard, Gracie W., and John M., Boomhower. They were in East Bolton Township of Brome County in the 1871 Census. I have much information on Allens but very little on the Boomhowers. Frank Allen ----- Original Message ----- From: "David J.
