As an american stuck in Philly, I'm close enough to smell Montreal, but too far to see Montreal. I've made one trip which was useless as a genealogical trip, but awesome as a "getting to know Stanstead" trip. I actually brought my family to Quebec this summer for a 2 day visit just for the memories. However, until now justifying a return trip with the wife has been hard to accomplish. The recent rush off material and insight into the Quebec genealogy sources will justify my retunr trip. I have a "money" project to document the Scotch-Irish 1718 emigramts to Boston, and the recent DOAK family info is one of those families.
