My great great grandfather's sister Eliza Ann ALLEN born July 5 1822 in Stanbridge Township married on January 1, 1842, John Goulding HATCH born about 1812, also of Stanbridge.I believe he died before 1861. Their children were: Martha P HATCH born about 1844 John S HATCH born about 1846 Harry I HATCH born about 1848 Mercy E HATCH born about 1850 The only information I have of his date of birth and their family is from the 1851 Census for Stanbridge. The reason I believe he died before 1861 is that the only HATCH reference I can find in the 1861 Census of Missisquoi or Brome Counties is in the Stanbridge Agricultural Census where Eliza HATCH owned 25 acres on Range 8 Lot 12 of Stanbridge.
