Roxana __________ was born about 1776 - possibly in Connecticut. She married Hezekiah SEARS possibly in the late 1790s - either in the Bennington County, Vermont area, or at Caldwell Manor in Quebec. Roxana was a widow living at Caldwell Manor in the 1825 census - with several children. I've been researching this family for 20 years, have only been able to definitely connect 4 children for the couple: Lyman (married Fanny NUTT) born about 1799 Hezekiah (married Lavina VANVOLKINGBURG) born 1800 William (married Margaret NUTT) born 1802) Sophrona C. (married John FAIRCHILD 1835 at Alburgh, Vermont) born @1817 1850 census of Jericho, Vermont when she was living with the Fairchilds says she was born Canada. In the 1880 census of Portage Co., Ohio - Sophronia Fairchild gives her mother's place of birth as "Connecticut". Roxana died sometime after 1850 - either in Vermont, or at Caldwell Manor.
