Hello List, I have not previously contacted this list, but watch it closely. My 15 year brick wall search is for Thomas Huff m. Elvina Hutchings. Their daughter Cecelia m. Pierre Charbonneau at Laval, QC, 26 Jan 1829. According to her marriage certificate both parents are deceased at the marriage date and are from Maine. I estimate Cecelia's birth as 1810-12. A sister, Ann, may have been born about 1799. With this the parents would have been married about 1798. To make a long story short for now, searches in Quebec, NH and Maine have turned up nothing close enough. I am looking in the Easter Townships because of the Huff presence there. How, and where, Cecelia, obviously English speaking met Pierre Charbonneau is a mystery. Regards, Fred Bennett Ottawa, ON
