I have not tried this so I don't know if or how it works exactly. If you log onto AltaVista down at the bottom left there is a "translate" link. They call it Babble Fish or something like that. If you go to the link, click on "French to English" and type in the URL it is suppose to translate the site for you. My understanding that the translation is not exact, but good enough to understand and also it may take a longer time to load the page. It's worth a shot.
