Hello Listers, Looking for marriage and death dates and places for Louis BEAUSOLEIL. He may have had more than one marriage. I have a p/copy of the burial record for Harriet REDACHER, widow of Louis Beausoleil, farmer of St.Johns Parish (presumably present-day St-Jean sur-Richelieu). Harriet died 05 Aug 1847 and was buried, I believe, in Sabrevois although the register was signed by M.Townsend who was the well-known rector of St.George's Anglican church in Clarenceville. I believe that Harriet had been previously marr.to Thomas RYAN so it is possible that her marr. rcd to Louis B. would show her only as "widow Harriet Ryan". Wonder if Louis BEAUSOLEIL may have been RC? Any background on this couple would be appreciated. David Carr in Scarborough ON
