    1. [QC-ETANGLO] Baldwins in Farnham

    3. Heth Baldwin and his son Monmouth P. Baldwin are my ancestors who lived in Farnham. Heth Baldwin was granted land in Farnham on Sept 9, 1805. He died in St. Armands on May 29, 1834. His wife was Hannah. Monmouth P. was born in Dutchess Co. NY, USA in 1802. In St. Armands Monmouth became a Mason in 1828. On June 7, 1832 Monmouth married Eliza Galusha, daughter of the Rev. William Galusha, in St. Armands. In 1833 a son George W. was born, and in 1835 a daughter Sarah S. was born. The family moved to PA, USA and were on the 1840 PA, USA census. I would appreciate any information on other members of the Heth Baldwin family who may have remained in Canada. I have traced my Baldwin ancestors to Nathaniel Baldwin who came to CT, USA from England in 1638/9, but have this Canadian gap in my family history. Elaine Voelker
