Hello, Holly: I wonder if you could tell me whether your Forgue line shows any link to the following: Francis Christmas - b. in "Canada" about 1796, son of Peter Christmas and Mary Forgues/Forbes Christmas. He emigrated to Vermont about 1841. Francis was married to Fidelia or Phyllina Collum (or Coulombe) who was also born in Canada about 1801, the d/o Anthony and Charlotte Collum. Both are buried in St. Mary's R.C. Cemetery, Richmond, Vermont. I have not been able to discover where in Canada (presumeably Quebec) these ancestors of mine came from. I had assumed also that they had changed their surname to Christmas from Noel, but none of the Noel families I've checked have them. I thought possibly the Forgue line might have a clue for me. Thanks for checking and Happy Holidays. Bernard Young in VT
