    3. Hello, You may be interested to know that Timothy WHEELER was among the inhabitants of Caldwell and Christie's Manors who agreed to subscribe to the salary for the new minister. This is from Chapter III of a book "Caldwell's Manor and Christie's Manor: The Seigneury de Foucault by Herbert R. Derick. I have done a lot of research in the Foucaul/Caldwell Manor area and I feel confident that you would be able to find a birth record for your John Wheeler among the parish records of Caldwell Manor (they could also be found under St. Jean or Dorchester) as they begin in 1815. If you have a LDS Family History Centre close to you, you would be able to order the microfilm. (I saw them at the archives in Quebec City - so don't know if their filing system would be the same). Hope this is helpful to you. Regards, Gail Beal
