    3. I am looking corroboration of the date of death of Adam Boomhower. It is claimed that he died in Stanbridge, Quebec on Jan 14th, 1871 but I can find no corroborating reference to support he claim. He is enumerated in Stanbridge in 1852 and 1861 and he and his wife do not declare any religious affiliation. None of his many children seem to have any infant baptismal records (there are three adult baptisms, after his death, in the Methodist church). His wife dies 25 years later and is buried in an Adventist Service. I have checked church and cemetery records around this date and cannot locate any burial record. I have not come across a Will or any Notary records concerning disposition of his effects. Although diligent, none of my attempts should be considered exhaustive as its far too easy to miss something. The 1852 census suggests he is living in the south east section of Stanbridge, in or near lot 4, range 4. [This location is close to the intersection of Ridge Rd. and Gage Rd. and appears fairly densely populated on the Wallings Map. As Adam does not appear to be a wealthy individual and as he has a large family, its likely he stayed in this location where "labourer" work would be available.]
