Folks, I was not home to write a Happy Canada Day, although my son, born and raised in the US, went to a wonderful celebration, as he has for several years. He is emphatic about celebrating that in that a few of his friends in college are Canadian, as well his heritage. I was out on my pool deck, watching the largest fireworks display in our neighborhood that I can remember. Our street is always "decked out" anyway. Since Sept 11th, there are 9 houses that have continuously flown a US off our mailbox. I often tell folks our house is the thirrd flag on the right. We always have the street blocked off and fireworks galore. I hope every one in Canada had a wonderful holiday, and as I'm hearing the bursting of fireworks around our house -- hope that all US readers do as well. I wish us all peace and our loved ones back on North American turf soon. Happy 4th and Belated Canada Day
