Hi all: Would anyone have books on Vaudreuil,QC? I am looking for children of Patrice Adhemar and M. Magdalane Trestler or Freshler. They were married 1810 in Vaudreuil, So I'm guessing maybe there were a few children born inVaudreuil. The only child that I know of is Patrice Adhemar who married M-Anne St Dizer. Candy Bryan
Hi Candy, Glad to see you are still following the genealogy trail! Saw your message and then the quiz from Gwen. I have corresponded with her off and on for several years. She is right that the Garceau info is scattered. I think you and I may have mentioned them in passing. I gave her a lot of info in the beginning of our correspondence but maybe she has forgotten or misplaced it. I'll be interested to hear what develops if you correspond with her. I keep getting a little more info on my line. Someone replied to a query on a message board from 1999. It seems we have the same stumbling block on our primary ancestor. But on the course of events we discovered another cousin who , it turns out, is a descendant who lives in Tennessee. He had g grandparents on both sides of his parentage that fought on opposing sides in the Civil War and has some interesting stories there. Nothing new on the Bryan Line but Ancestry had a free week celebrating D-Day. with free use of immigration files. I did find and was able to print some Skiffington info and found Tom's Grandmother and Aunt came here into New York.after years of studying microfilms to no avail. I just wish I could call him up and tell him.
