To all -- The present standing of incomplete provinces is now: ONTARIO .......................... 93.24% MANITOBA .......................80.21% QUEBEC.............................71.10% SASKATCHEWAN............49.13% BRITISH COLUMBIA........48.56% ALBERTA............................39.39% 100% -- Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Yukon, NorthWest Territories, New Brunswick I wonder if we could add several more 100% provinces by Canada's Thanksgiving Day - second Monday in October? Many incomplete pages were claimed back in 2005 and I wish these could be released NOW -- it is unfair as these transcribers have forgotten, lost his/her computer, on holiday -- or other. WE also have many who complete up to TWO lines and claim the page -- one was in 2005, many in 2006. For people doing family research and only need a few lines, please transcribe them (less for others to do) but DO NOT CLAIM PAGE unless you like transcribing so well you finish the 50 lines. There is a great deal of material to read on the Automated Genealogy site -- places for messages, and above all -- QUESTIONS that are frequently asked. All it takes to do a page is about 20-30 minutes, sign in with email as userid plus a password of your choice. These two URLs will provide information http://automatedgenealogy.com/census11/ [Use this one for transcribing] http://automatedgenealogy.com/index.html [Use this one if LINKING to 1901] Percentages per District/Province http://static.automatedgenealogy.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6474 Let's see what we can do before we enjoy Thanksgiving turkey and the Ocktoberfest parade in Ontario.
