I have checked these lines on Page 5 by using Split-View Lines 3 to 13 have been marked out by the enumerator and IF anyone can figure out what the enumerator has written, add a NOTE to Line 3. The next thing is HOW TO DO THESE LINES. The far left number is the LINE NUMBER -- it keeps on going! DELETE HouseHold Number and Surnames from Lines 3 to 13 They will be BLANK except for the Line Number At Line 14, Transcribing is started again -- I have checked!! Please send a note to me if not understood. ALL marked out lines are treated the same way. Also while we are on this topic -- if you cannot decipher the SURNAME, please use ?? This will bring up the 1901, which you might need later on. If all of these are not checked (please check any lines now) and if one does not have 50 or even 51 lines per page, there is something wrong. TIP:- There are printed numbers at the far left of the form, beside the Line Number. Every time I see HEAD, I check to see if I am on the correct line -- also only ONE line of data is available for me to transcribe -- have saved many hours of correction!
