You were most helpful Ernie. I had thought the address in Sherbrooke never existed until you contacted me. John's youngest son was Percy, born in Sherbrooke. He eventually lived in Shanghai and was caught up in the war. As a result of this the Canadian Archives had a file on him, a volunteer obtained the file for me, and it is full of personal information about the family, including dates and addresses. Percy had no birth certificate. The file had a legal declaration about his birth made by his father in 1931 in Kent. I now have so much more to research, but this was one almighty leap Sue Ernie Turner <eb_turner@hotmail.com> wrote: Hi Sue, Congratulations. That is really neat. Thanks for letting us know.
