I have also located marriages in Highgate, Franklin, and elsewhere in VT, but Alburg has always held a lot for those researching in close by ETs, like the Manors, Noyan, Clarenceville. David has put a lot of effort into the transcription and it just might have the record you're looking for. ;-) Many thanks to David for his wonderful contribution! --Pam ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to QC-ETANGLO-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message Pam Wood Waugh pam@woodwaugh.com or 730 Dunhill Drive waughp@yahoo.com Orlando, FL 32825 http://www.woodwaugh.com - Family Lines http://www.rootsweb.com/~qceastwn/ - Eastern Townships of QC Research
I can second the advice to check these records. I thought I had already checked the available records for this area, but was stunned today to discover marriages in this new set of extracts for an ancestor and her sister. I had never known that either of these marriages occurred. Both of these marriages were second (of three) marriages for each sister, and I had previously only been aware of the first and (now) third marriages for each. Many, many thanks to David for this terrific resource and all his hard work!
