Senator Lynch-Staunton spoke to the Bill on 1 December. For the most part his comments regarding the Bill were negative. My first inclination was to give him a Red X of opposition. However, in the end he made reference to 'keeping an open mind' at this stage of the proceedings. As a result he has been provisionally awarded a Green Fence on the Senators Scoreboard. Senator Stratton left no doubt in his speech as to his opposition to the access we seek and has been awarded a Red X of opposition. Debate was adjourned on Thursday in the name of Senator Noel Kinsella who is already on record as being opposed to access of Historic Census records. He will speak to the Bill next week. 3. Hello Leslie : This is a big undertaking and you are most dedicated, you helped me tremendously for which I am grateful. Are there any listings for PINE HILL CEMETERY in Magog ?? I am still going around in circles trying to trace the burial of GEORGE BYRON DUTTON, he is suposed to be next to SARAH JANE KEMP DUTTON in Pine Hill, but as you found out, there are no markers-- when you do these listings, do you record the graves from the records that are kept by the office, or is it a list of graves from a walk-thru ? I am afraid that if Pine Hill is finally listed from a walk-thru, there will be no record of these Ancestors. Again, thank you for all your help, Sincerely, Sally Dutton ----- Original Message ----- From: "leslie nutbrown" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, December 03, 2004 8:27 AM Subject: Cemeteries in the Townships > Further to the discussion regarding cemetery transcriptions available online > at www.interment.net. > This is an ongoing project and as many cemeteries as possible will be > transcribed by volunteers.
