    3. Regarding the book: Pyron, Ron, et al. JOSHUA AND HIS SON WILLIAM RILEY PYRON: THE STORY OF THEIR JOURNEY THROUGH THE 19TH CENTURY; THEIR HOMES, THEIR FAMILIES, AND THE TIMES IN WHICH THEY LIVED. Privately published, 1987. 154 p. + 10 p. of corrections. Includes index. I do not know the whereabouts of Ron Pyron at present, although he is a distant cousin of mine. He has moved frequently with job changes. About the first 30 pages deals with other Pyron lines in the U.S. and gives brief information on various lines along with the names and addresses of those who supplied information. That part would interest most of the subscribers. I am willing to photocopy this information at 10 cents a page plus postage and handling. The bulk of the book covers descendants of Joshua Pyron, b. ca. 1770 Orange Co., NC, d. aft. 1850 McNairy Co., TN. He is believed to be the son of a John Pyron, b. ca. 1750 NC who married a Margery Cate, dau. of John Cate, Jr. who left a will in Caswell Co., NC in 1785 which listed his grandson Joshua Pyron and mentions John Pyron and dau. Margery Pyron in his will. The will does not expressly say John & Margery are the parents of Joshua, but that seems to be the connection. If you want a photocopy of the complete book & the correction pages, I can send that for $15.00 postage paid. Glenn Gohr 1040 E. McCanse St. Springfield, MO 65803-3613 ggohr01@mail.orion.org
