Other variations I have noted are: PERON PERONNE PERRON PIRAN PIRENT PIERENT PRYON PYRAIN PYRAM PYRANT PYROM PYRONT PYRUM PYRUN Some of these are due to census takers and those not versed in spelling taking the initiative to change the original spelling.
