Wendy, In the JOSHUA AND HIS SON WILLIAM RILEY PYRON book, on p. 31 is listed this info: William Pyron, b. 1788, d. ?; md. Sarah Hudspeth, b. 1797, d. ?; Issue: eight girls and 4 boys. The oldest boy listed is Jackson H. Pyron, b. 1815 AL, d. ? ; md. Hannah Rea, b. 1816, d. ?; issue: 5 girls, 4 boys & maybe more. William above was the brother of the Allen Pyron that was mentioned in the earlier posting. Willilam and Allen are sons of John Pyron, b. 1762 in NC or SC, d. ca. 1838 Lowndes Co., MS who md. Delpha Stokes, a Choctaw Indian. I believe more information on these lines is available in the book: DOWDLE-PYRON FAMILY TREE by Mabel S.
