I am new to the list and I would like to say thank you to those who have helped me already. I am searching for information on a Malinda Pyles/Piles born in either Ala. or Ms. Today I went to the Genealogy Library and I found a marriage license for a Charity A. Pyle and Daniel S. Beacham on June 16, 1840 Sumter Co. Ala. then in Claiborne Co. Ms. I found them on the 1850 census. Living with them was a Balinda Pyles 18 yr. of age born in Ala. Was their father Samuel Piles of Sumter Co. Ala and could the name Balinda possible be Malinda? Would someone happen to know? Thanks, Irene
