The name "Marion" makes me think we may be "barking up the same tree.:)" My ggg grandfather was William Rowan Pyle b. 1821 from Floyd County, GA. He and his family migrated to Arkansas around 1854. I'm sure some of them "stopped off" in Alabama and settled there. Do you have any dates or other info that might help me help you?
