    3. Here is a copy of a letter I mailed off today after checking the Bratton web site, I believe that I will for sure end up as my own grandpa. Ron ---------- From: Ron Pyle <piguy@goldrush.com> To: RuthMickelson@Prodigy.com Subject: Bratton, Ward, Milliken Date: Tuesday, December 23, 1997 3:08 PM Ruth; You and I have communicated in the past concerning our connection with Wilson R. Bratton who married my Great Aunt Frances Pyle in 1855 in Vermillion County, Indiana and then moved to Florence, Williamson County Texas. Wilson was a postmaster in Vermillion County from July 5, 1854 to March 3, 1855. Now I see the name Milliken tossed about and have a relationship to Bertha Milliken who was a descendent of the Malones. My great-great-grandmother was Martha Malone Pyle. Then to confuse matters even more I find the Bratton webpage looking at Ward. My great-great-great grandparents were Richard Mack and Betty Harvey Mack who were the parents of Samuel Mack. His daughter Mary Jane Mack married Hiram Ward who lived in Bourbon County Kansas at the time of the 1880 census. Mary Jane Mack Ward died in Chandler, Oklahoma in 1912. Her daughter who has the family bible is Alice Ward Young. My sister is Valerie Young, whose father-in-law and Mother-in-Law, Elmer and Lois Young are from Oklahoma. Elmer is one of 13 children This genealogy is getting too eerie to suit me! Ron Pyle Angels Camp, Ca.
