Still looking for parents/siblings of Martha Jane Pyle, b 12/25/1846 GA. Thought we might have finally found names of her parents when we located a copy of her death certificate. However, Martha Jane was away from home, visiting her daughter when she died, and death certificate says "not known" for names of Mother and Father. Martha Jane married James Joseph Newton Fulmer in St. Clair Co, AL, 4/11/1865. They were still in Alabama in 1883 and were in Texas by 1885. 1860 AL census shows a Martha Piles, 14, living with a Mary Piles, head of household, in Harpersville (Shelby Co), AL. Others in the household include: William, 18, Russ 16, Sallie 12, and Daniel W. 10. All born in GA. Search of Shelby County records was fruitless.
