Charlene, You are correct. I didn't express myself very well. Family Origins is a complete program. It automatically generates a lot of different reports. I also have large files: two with about 8,000 names each and two with about 2,000 each. One thing you might consider is outputing a GEDCOM file and loading it into a program like Family Origins to generate your report. That way you don't disturb your original data file and you can experiment with different ways to present your data. I often move my data between Family Tree Maker and Family Origins in order to get my final report to look like I want it to. Each program has some formats that others do not. Happy Holidays, Dave
