Bill; I know there are many mistakes in the book and some of them are causing me much anguish. However it is the best we have at the time. I was running out of time last night or would have given you more information. This I believe is also my line through Zachariah Piles 5 from Francis 1. Your line I believe, barrring more mistakes would be: William Henderson Piles, sixth generation, born 7-4-1783, PG County Henry Humphrey, fifth generation, born 1761, bapt. 1763 St. John's Register. Married 1779 in PG county to Elizabeth Wallingford. From hall of records PG. County index to Marriages (1777 to 1886) by Helen W. Brown Francis Piles, fourth generation, b. ca 1730-31, married the widow Dorothy Lanham in 1764 John Piles, third generation, born 1690, married Mary Hunter in 1721. Francis Piles second generation ? Francis Piles, 1st generation, born 1660, Will probated 1717 in PG. County, Md. If you come across any information concerning Zachariah Piles in this family line I would like to have it. There is a glaring mistake concerning Zachariah in the Francis area of the Pyle book and I need to get through there to link to William Pyle born 1775 in Pennsylvania. The Pyle book was published in Kokomo, Indiana by Howard T. and Jane (Weaver) Pyle, 1546 West Jefferson Street, Kokomo, In. 46901 The Pyles have run out of books and are considering a fifth printing, but are up in age and may not get around to it. It's a great book and I can't believe that they were able to accumulate so much information before the computer age. Ron Pyle ---------- : From: William S.
