I wrote about Amy, the third child, in my earlier post on this family. The fourth was son, James Pyle, b. 1799, d. 1834, m. Elizabeth SMITH, b. July 1807,d/o Solomon & Rachel SMITH. They had two children: Sarah Ann Pyle, b. 01 Jan. 1825, d. 11 May 1862,m. George HIPPLE,b. 05 Dec. 1822, s/o Geo. & Elizabeth HIPPLE. Sarah & Geo. had 5 children. Parker Pyle, b. 30 Mar. 1828, d. 1904 Taylors, Washington Co.,PA.m 1st Nancy McROBERTS, b. 01 Aug. 1825, d 24 Nov. 1845, m. 2nd Elizabeth Ann UNDERWOOD, his cousin,d/o Amy PYLE & Elihu UNDERWOOD. Parker had only one child with his first wife and none with the second. The dau was Harriet, b. 17 Sept. 1844,m. 14 Dec. 1865 Thornton BISHOP, 6 children. The fifth child of Levi was Levi, Jr.,b. 22 Sept. 1801, d. 13 July 1871, m 1st Betsey ?, m. 2nd Martha MILLER, 30 July 1848. She lived on Pike Run Washington Co.,Pa. Levi,Jr. & Betsey had 3 children: Emeline Johnson Elizabeh Levi,Jr. & Martha had 5 children: Mary Ellen, b. 25 June 1850 Margaret Ann, b. 26 Mar. 1853 John R. ,b. 15 Sept. 1855 Albert, b. 26 Mar. 1862 Alline, twin of Albert The other two sons of Levi PYLE: Reason and John, died without issue.
