In response to the question of "where was she?" : Martha was b. 08 Nov 1846 in Clinton Co., MO, m. Jesse Hooper 12 Mar 1862 in Linn co., KS, and lived in KS through the early 1880s. She went west to WA state ??? and d. there 15 Apr 1922. Does she fit your family? I have not been able to locate her ancestry, other than her father's name--James; that from her death cert.
