    2. Hello All, and thank you, Sara, for the opportunity to share information on this line. The Pyles I've been researching are: 1. Thomas Piles, m.. Mariah Riley. Two known children: Kasiah, b. 1847, d. 1932 (married a Trembly) and Daniel Mitchell 2. Daniel Mitchell Pyles, b. abt 1847 in Preston, WV, m. (1) Mary Catherine Miller 17 Oct 1867, (2) Sarah Louise Miller abt. 1877; d. abt 1876 in Preston, WV. Five children from first marriage: Andrew Coleman, Thomas H., Nancy Zora (m. Augustus Neibell), Mary E., Nanette A. (m. Robert Newhouse). Ten children from second marriage: Anna Sophie, William, Daniel Hezekiah, Caleb Alford, Kelso W., Bell Mariah, Jessie Louise, Robert Augustus, Sylvia May, Raymond. 3. Andrew Coleman Pyles, b. 5 Oct 1865 in Preston, WV, m. Grace B. Townsend 5 Oct 1890, d. 12 August 1905 in Marion, WV. Four children: Clarence Andrew, Mae Belle (married three times, the last to Clarence Baker Haun), John, George Ernest 4. Clarence Andrew Pyles, b. 12 Aug 1891 in Marion, WV, m. Rose Adella Leonberger 12 August 1916, d. 1 April 1969. Two children: Margaret Grace, Eleanor Genevieve. 5. Eleanor Genevieve Pyles, b. 26 June 1923 in Marion, WV, m. Thomas Jefferson Shuff 22 April 1950. Three children: Thomas Jefferson, Jr., Donna Marie, Patrick Russell. Eleanor Pyles Shuff's eldest son, Thomas Jefferson Shuff, Jr., is my husband. This family appears to have lived in the Preston/Marion County area of West Virginia since the mid 1800's. I have no information so far on Thomas Piles. Beth Orman Shuff
