Hello Sara and group, I'm very happy you started this list. I'm sure it will grow as more people find out about it. There seems to be a lot of Pyle descendents out there and there is plenty of info to share. I also have the Pyle book. It was a tremendous help to me since I descend from Robert Pyle and Ann Stovey through their son, William Pyle. Last summer I visited Pyle's Mills which is located in Lawrence Co, PA. The mill was built by my ancestor Amos Pyle and his wife Rachel Wright around 1800. The grinding wheels from the original grist mill are still there and the property has a small cemetery where Amos, Rachel and some of their children are buried. At the moment I live near Columbus, OH and we are in the process of moving to Peters Twp. Washington Co., PA. We will be closing on the new house in early August and moving in around mid August. I will probably have to unsub and resub at some point to the group when I change providers but hopefully that won't be too painful. I look forward to sharing info. Dawn myers@netwalk.com
