Sara; Every place I look for my associated branches I find the Bratton family. Howard and Jane's son-in-law was a Bratton, but I found the Bratton connections, as well as my Malone connections through Indiana State Library when I was searching for Pyle. At that time all the librararies were extremely liberal with their information and they sent me copies of pages from "Parke and Vermillion counties, The first 100 years 1824-1924" that contained information on Pyle, Mack and Malone. Cousin Frances Pyle married Wilson Bratton in Vermillion in 1855. I also have a file on Malone's that you are welcome to and also my file on Brattons'. Interesting enough, I also found that my ex-wife's family descended from the Brattons. Her maiden name was Bristol. This is sure a strange world, isn't it? I am a | descendant of Peachea Brooks Malone of Alabama, who immigrated from | Ireland. Or maybe it was his parents. My Malones then moved to Texas. | My ggrandmother was Missouri Ann Malone who married George Washington | HOFFMAN/HUFFMAN in Marshall, Texas. | | Also, Ron, Bratton is one of the variants of Broughton which is my | maiden name. Have you looked into that? | | Just wanted to let y'all know that I also have these surnames and am | interested in them too. | | Sara
