Sara, This may a dumb question, but is there any way to purchase the Blue Book? Also, I had the same problem you are talking about as far as accessing the cd, which is still available by the way. The trick is to go online from your FTW program and MAKE SURE YOU ACCEPT THE COOKIES. Normally, I turn all cookies down, but it doesn't work if you do. If for some reason you are able to connect and still get funny messages, somewhere in there it should give you the option of verifying your license or status with FTW. You can correct it then. In my case I had already loaded my 4.0 and at one point I actually had to reinstall my 3.4 to get it to work. (I bought the 4.0 directly from them and had registered the 3.4 etc, who knows why - it had worked the day before!) Now it seems to work even with the 4.0 reloaded. Go figure. I belong to the mail list for them and FOWIN, which I also keep current. We are not alone in these problems. I just sent them a flamer of a posting because of these and many other problems with the Big B. I told them Broderbund is a bad word. If for some reason you are not able to go online from FTW, you need to check the .ini file to see how it is pointing to the browser. I have much more detail on that if you need it or want it.
