Hello all; Pyle/Pyles is my husband's line. The name was originally spelled with the "s", but apparently my husband's grandfather, Z. Taylor Pyle dropped the "s" @1900. John Pyle(s), no dob, possibly died 1881, married to Anna WATKINS, b.20 Aug. 1851, d. 8 Jan. 1904. They lived in the Bridgeport, WVA area I believe. John and Anna had two sons: Zachery (sic) Taylor Pyle(s) was born 10 Oct. 1875 in Marion Co., WVA.; and Joshua, no dob, no info except he may have become a preacher and traveled between WVA, KY and Ohio. Zachery Taylor PYLES died 14 March,1957 in Clarksburg, Harrison Co.,WVA. I believe that John Pyle/Pyles may have been a descendant of Zachariah Pyles but have no proof. Any help on this line is greatly appreciated. Sara listowner
