I am seeking information on William Pyles (1809-1879) who lived in Washington County, PA. he had three children with his first wife whose surname was Clokey. Her first name is unknown. He had a dozen more children with his second wife, Mary Louisa SHIPLEY (1824-1917). I suspect Pyles came from MD. The parents of Mary Louisa -- Samuel SHIPLEY and Amelia RIDGELY -- were both born in England and lived in Anne Arundel County, MD. I believe someone already has checked the "Pyles Family of America" for me. I have summaries of a half dozen Pyles including Zachariah and Elijah of Monongalia County, VA, I can provide.
