I know very little about my great grandfather, Enoch (Sank) H. Pyle (1886-1987). Mother told me he was a fine man who had a very happy marriage with Mary Carlotta (Fanny) Cole (1887-1946). They had four children Zefria (my grandmother)1889-1984, Emma L. (1899- ?) Theodore (?) and Francie Pyle (?) I remember Aunt Francie very well as a child, as I used to call her...she had flaming red hair, which she dyed of course...like Lucille Ball and thin penciled in eyebrows, always dressed with fashion. Most of the pictures that I ever saw of Enoch and Fanny, they were hugging and smiling...and mother said when she was a child she always loved seeing grandfather Sank and grandmother Fanny, life was happy in Arkansas, even though they were very poor. Great grandfather Enoch died at his home in Elk Ranch AR, Mary Carlotta, I am not sure.... I would really like to know how far back I can go with Enoch H. Pyles ,,,,and find out if his family always lived in such a poor state economically.... bob Puyallup, WA
