I was always told by my grandmother that Mary's last name was Maxwell. (which stands to reason since we have a great many names in our line of Maxwell) Living in Fayette County Ga Issues: 1) Samuel Pyle b.1797 Married Jane (Jincy ) Rosser 2) John Pyle Jr. b.ca 1800 Married Margaret ? 3) Female 4) Female 5) Female 6) Jane Pyle b. 1806 Married John Calloway 7) Female 8) Mary (Polly) B.1808 Married Benjamin Garrett 9) Richard Maxwell b. 1811 Married Edna Gainey Westbrook My Direct line comes From the 9th Child Richard Maxwell Pyle. He went from Fayette Co.>Floyd Co.>Fannin Co. TX by 1854. John Pyle must have died prior to the 1850 Census. Mary was living with her daughter Mary Garrett and her husband Berry in Floyd Co., GA.
