    1. Re: Ben Pyle b 1815 KY
    2. Peggy and other Pyle cousins, I am finally starting to get back to doing lookups and will take them in date order. This post will be of interest to others I am sure. Peggy's note is at the bottom, dated 13 July. This information is more than what was asked but isn't what Peggy is looking for. In checking marriage cds, I found the following: Cd 4; no Benjamin Pyle, no Benjamin Pyles, no Benjamin Pile. I did find Benjamin PILES married Ann Simpson, 17 April, 1827, Prince Georges, MD. Cd 229: Benjamin Pyle married Melissa Compton, 5 Feb. 1833 in Christian Co.,KY. Benjamin Pile married Rhody Weathers, 2 March 1825, Washington Co.,KY. There were no Piles or Pyles on this cd. WFT 1 Benjamin, son of Nicholas, est b 1770-1824, no other info. No other spellings either. WFT 2: Found one that was later and not the right location, but will post for the group: Benjamin Pyles, b.9 Dec. 1863, d. est. 1864-1953, the son of Milton Pyles and Jane Runyon Caywood. Several siblings: George Thomas; Mary Eliza; Alice Cary; William Francis; Hattie Cook; Leonard; Elijah O'Bannon, Claude, Clifton Calhoun. I have dates on these if anyone is interested. There was another record containing a Benjamin that was much later than the one specified. Benjamin Pyles, b. August 1874, Wayne Co.,WV, d.31 July, 1935. There is quite a bit of info on this WV family. WFT 3: looked at all the spellings, found one Benjamin Pile, b.est 1743-1772, d. est 1797-1857, married to Ruth Van Meter, l child, Samuel. I did a print out on this family because there is quite a bit of info there, some in KY, IND, and MO. I will post this separately. WFT 4: Several Pyle listing including some from SC to Kaufman, TX. WFT 5: Another too early listing, Benjamin b. est 1737-1763, d. 1831, married to Sarah Heacock. WFT 6: No Benjamins for lookup. WFT 7: One Benjamin Pile, son of Richard, no real information. Very early.
