I have been using ships lists for my Penna Germans, so many were published for the early arrivals, and I expect the names I have found, useful for two lines. There is a reference to a Pyle in one of the many books on the Welcome, Wm Penns book but as I recall, just as a foot note, not an accepted passenger. That is why I am curious about the Maryland Piles and that they were here earlier. I did not know copies of Howard Pyle's book were still available. I bought mine back when published and through it I made contact with another of the family in Butler CO PA. Best, Marjory
