There is no question that his first wife was Jemima Moxley, widow of William Windsor, whom she mar. ca 1741 in Fairfax Co., VA and by whom she had 2 sons - William & James Windsor. After William's death she mar. John Piles, Jr. & had 6 children: Patience mar. Rob't McClain, Sr; Ruth mar. Chas. Dawson; Elijah mar. Henrietta & Hannah; David mar. who?; Sarah mar. Thomas Hawkins & Hunter mar. Christina & Nancy Fortney. Jemima Moxley was d/o Thomas Moxley & Anne Gunnell of Fairfax Co., VA and was b. ca 1728 probably in Fairfax Co.
