Bobi, The children of John PYLE of Bishops Canning Parish, Wiltshire, England, were: John,b. 1621, Robert, b.1623 Nicholas, bapt. 13 March, 1625 (Dave's #64, Seventh Generation) Thomas, bapt. 6 May 1632, bur. 27 Nov. 1647 Marie, bapt. 7 July 1639, bur. 21 Jan. 1652 Regarding Nicholas, Dave's #64: According to H. PYLES book, Nicholas and Edith were the parents of nine children, not counting one son who died early. They had three daughters and six sons, including Robert, Nicholas and Ralph, the three emigrants who came to America. It is believed that all of Nicholas' and Edith's children were born at Bishops Canning. The three sons that came to America were: Robert, b. 29 Dec.1660, (Dave's #32, Sixth Generation)marr 1st. to Ann STOVEY, marr. 2nd to Susanna TURNER (a widow)Robert lived in Chester, now Delaware Co.,PA. Quakers. Nicholas, bapt. 12 Aug. 1666, marr. Abigail BUSHELL, Sept.1688 in Chester Co.,PA.First settling in Bethel, then moving @1696 to Concord, Delaware Co. After Abigail died, Nicholas marr. Ann WEBB. Quakers. Ralph, b.bapt.31 Jan.1670, marr. lst. Eleanor RAWLINGS. They lived in Concord, Delaware Co.PA. Belonged to Church of England. Will post more about these and their descendants at another time, but these are the guys that most of us think we are descended from.
