Ron & All: Now that I'm totally humbled by my dear cousin, it's back to work. Thank you, Ron. Do you have server space to spare? If you do, write me with the details. Also, who was it in the Census in VA in 1800 that had a William next door to a Robert, and then in 1810 the William was gone but the elder Robert was still there? There seems to be enough good response to warrant moving ahead some. I can go through the postings that everyone has made and weed out your lines to put on the page. But I don't really want to do that unless each of you decides you WANT your line on the page. So, if you want to include your line in the query format, please submit it to me with all of the following information and in this type of format. Please include the other surnames you are researching. I can add the capital letters, but please use the two letter state abbreviations and a numbering system from the oldest ancestor you have down to your grandparents, parents, or yourself. Include a paragraph detailing the information you are searching for. This would be a good place to list some speculation on where you think the line leads. 1) PYLES_MICHAEL, b: Abt. 1814, Marshall, WV; d: April 04, 1880 in Wheeling, Marshall Co., WV; md. I tried using the one that Frances posted for Michael, but it didn't quite work. I don't know what e-mail options you have, but if you can save a descendant chart with a "print to file" option, do that. Then attach the file to the e-mail with the "Convert to Plain Text" option. That keeps the margins lined up the same way the report generated them. Otherwise, I have a heck of a time trying to line it up correctly. I basically have to re-type it. Later...
