Pyle Research by Ernest Seaborn Pyle Three immigrants, brothers, to America from England: 1 Robert Pyle of Horton, Wiltshire, a maltster. records showing they lived in Chester County, PA as early as 1684. 2 Nicholas Pyle, records show purchased 150 acres in 1688 in Bethel, later deeded to brother Robert and Nicholas went to Concord Twp. 3 Ralph Pyle, unlike others was not a Quaker, lived in Concord Twp. Robert d. 1725, married Ann, daughter of William Stovey abt 1681 Children: Sarah b 1682, Robert, William, John, Mary, Jacob, Joseph, Daniel Nicholas married first Abigail Bushell, second Ann Webb Children: Mary, Edith, Nicholas, Samuel, James, Joseph Youngest daughter Sarah may have been with second wife.
