John Pyle 25 Sep 1832-29 Jan 1907 m. Sarah Geisinger b. 1 Feb 1835 d.7 Apr 1913 3. Elizabeth Pyle b. 1834 4. Sarah Pyle b. 1836 m. Joseph Stamates 5. Franklin Pyle b. 11 Jul 1838-d. 24 Jul 1855 6. Emeline Minerva Pyle b. 1842-d. 25 Oct 1891 m. 1) Aaron Cobler b. 17 Apr 1826-d. 6 Mar 1868 [my line] m. 2) John Teters Plus at least 3 more older daughters and possibly 1 other son. I would like to learn the names of these children. I believe John to be the son of Amos Pyle who was born about 1769/70 and died 6 Nov 1815. Rebecca Holliday The previous line of descent, has been given as: John Pyle and Mary Withers, England Nicholas Pyle and Edith Masprat Robert Pyle and Ann Stovey 2) Susan Turner (He [Robert] was the Immigrant 1682) William Pyle & Olive Bennett Job Pyle & Elizabeth Bennett Calleb Pyle & Sophia House Amos Pyle and Rachel Wright He [Amos]moved to Camp Run, Lawrence CO PA & his family is as above. The family were Friends of Chester CO. I do not know when they left the Society. Would be interested in learning more about the line. I have read some of the email regarding the Maryland Pile Family. Were they Quakers also and have you previously posted when they came to America and to which port.? I have done no work on proving this line. I was in touch with the Howard Pyles at the time they were asembling their book, but then I did not know John B. Pyles parents so could not connect. Is this the blue book you are refering to?
