Hi everyone, My name is Jim Stanfield. I have been on the list for about a month, but havn't had time to post. Got time now, so here goes. I want to apolagize in advance for the long post, just couldn't find a short way to list my line. I have pretty much the sam PYLE ancestors as everyone else, beginning with John b. 1594 & Mary Marie WITHERS, to Nicholas b. 1624 & Edith MUSPRAT(T). From there I am decended from Nicholas' son Ralph b. 1-31-1670/71 Aug 1741 and Eleanor RAWLINGS b. 1663 , d. 1726. The research I have (which was done by a Claude W. Pyle in the 1930s) only lists on child of Ralph & Eleanor, that being William b. mar 9, 1699/00 in Chester Co. PA, d. June 1, 1746 , Chester C. PA. married Betty Chads, (daughter of Francis CHADS & Grace STANFIELD). Mr. Pyle lists 7 children of William & Betty: 1. Ralph b. abt 1727 2. Joseph b. mar 4, 1729/30 3. John b. abt 1732 4. William 5. Elinor 6. Mary 7. Sarah Mr. Pyle's research gets very short on details for the next few generations. According to his research, he (as well as I) is decended through Ralph. b. 1727. d. June 13, 1903 in Harford Co. Maryland, m. Sarah (unknown maiden). Only one child is listed, Isaac birth date unknown, d. jan 15, 1802. No information on Isaac's spouse. Mr. Pyle lists 3 children of Isaac, 1. Isaac, 2. Harmon, 3. Harland, with no birth years on either. His research shows my line to continue through the second Isaac. No spouse is listed for this Isaac either, but 10 children are listed, they are: 1. Jessie 2. Sarah 3. William 4. Mary 5. Isaac Lewis 6. Elizabeth 7. Amer 8. Hannah Jones 9. Lydia Susan 10. Harlan b. 1790 No birth years given for any, other than Harlan My decendency continues through Amer, b. unknown, d. 1834 Jackson Co. Ohio, m. Mary Shaver. Mr. pyle stated in his research that he had no proof that this Amer Pyle was the same Amer that was the son of Isaac, but that the coincidences were such that this line would be followed untill proven wrong. Mr. Pyle's research gets more detailed again beginning with Amer. Amer and Mary Shaver had 7 children: 1. Nicholas b. 1-3-1805 2. Phoebe b. 1806 3. Leah b. 1810 4. Maria b. 1813 5. John b. 1814 6. Levi b. 1818 7. Eli b. 1819 My line continues through Nicholas b. 1805, Virginia d. Oct. 29 1858 in White Co. IL, m. Margaret (Peggy) WISHON 1806-1890, to Amer (possibly America, there is an America Pyle buried in White Co. IL with the right death date) b. 1833 d. 1883, m. Deborah Ann ACORD 1856 in White Co. IL, to Kenchen Goshen Pyle (my g-grandfather) b. 1867 White C. IL d. 1949 MO, m. Ida Belle Baker in White Co. to their daughter Inez Zella, b. 1900 Stoddard Co. MO, died 1947 MO, who married my grandfather James Henry Stanfield. (No connection as of yet to the Grace Stanfield that married Francis CHADS) What I am searching for in some information to to fill in the blanks from Ralph Pyle b. 1727 d. 1803 to the first Amer Pyle that died in Jackson Co.
