Dear Dan; Excuse me if I said 9700 pages, only 1200, but that makes it almost 3" thick. Sometimes my tongue gets in the way of my eye teeth and I can't see what I'm saying. The Pyle Book, that I call the bluebook is written by Howard Thornton Pyle and the title is "Pyle-Pile Family in America, 1642-1980" It is not available for sale any longer, but can be found in most major libraries. I found it in the Sutro Library in San Francisco.
